 Name Nathan Fletcher Age 21 University & Course Stirling University, 3rd Year BSc (Hons) Environmental Science and Outdoor Education Kayaking Experience I first tried kayaking at about the age of 11 with a local a local club in Hexham in Northumberland. Since then I've been lucky enough to paddle in Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Norway and Scotland where I now study. Favourite River? Etive was the first river to come to mind... ok it's not the biggest or the hardest but it’s a true classic and the site of many a good time and certainly has its days! Last Swim? Haha a true embarrassment fell out of my canoe on the Teith... What are you most looking forward to about the Expedition? Right now I'm in Ottawa in Canada where I'm spending the spring and if I were foolish enough to go outside I'd find the temperature to be around -25 degrees and most of the rivers beset with icebergs. I’m looking forward to the warm weather! Having said that, the paddling has to be what I’m looking forward to most, that’s why we’re going right? First boat? Pyranha Acrobat 270 in a classic yellow.
