 Name Luke Farrington Age 21 University & Course Leeds, Civil & Structural engineering, 3rd year Kayaking Experience I started boating when I was about 12, and haven?t stopped since. I've had the privilege to boat in; England, France, Wales, Italy, Norway and Scotland.  Favourite River? Myrkdelselva, Norway Last Swim? I fell out of a flat water racer last year, canal water was lovely. What are you most looking forward to about the Expedition? Making some big first descents, having fun along the way, eating some funky food. What do you think is going to be the biggest challenge on the Expedition? Finding the top notch rivers, I know they?re there it?s just finding them. Any extra skills or anything to brighten up the evenings? I am unaware of any such activity - nor would I be disposed to discuss such an activity if it did in fact exist. So why Vietnam & Laos? I haven?t been to that part of the World and it looks amazing, also there hasn?t been a great deal of boating done. So hopefully we?ll find something awesome. What makes this Expedition so Special? It shows just what students can do if they get their act together!  |
